The Preschool Teacher position works hands on with children between the ages of three years old through pre-Kindergarten, providing direct care and implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum in a weekday enrichment preschool program that includes half day and full day options.

• Qualifications:
• 12 core semester units in early childhood education.
• 6 months experience in a licensed child care center or comparable program.
  •  Alternative: 6 completed semester units and continued enrollment in at least 2 semester units at college until fully qualified.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Regularly attend a home church or Gateway Church at least 2 Sundays a month.
• In cooperation with the director, develop and implement developmentally appropriate, emergent curriculum for children ages 2 years - pre K.
• Help establish and enforce routines to assist children in social-emotional learning and behavior regulation.
• Possess proficient active listening skills to understand and adapt to the various needs of children and parents.
• Regularly adapt to changing situations using critical thinking and problem solving to come up with logical solutions to issues that may arise.

Hours:

• Part-time: 25-29 hours per week
• $18 / hour

GateWay is looking for a person who will help oversee and run our tech department. Part time / Full time based on experience and skill set. Position includes running audio/video/lighting systems for multiple venues, broadcast/livestream, rehearsals, and GateWay events both on and off campus.
